Bambusa
The genus Bambusa is a group of clumping bamboos with cylindrical, hollow, and tuberous culms. It grows fast, can reach 30 m in height, and spreads across Southeast Asia to Australia. It is widely used for construction, crafts, and food, thanks to its strength that exceeds that of wood. In addition, bamboo is also environmentally friendly and can regrow after harvesting.
